Daylily in Red
Vicki Byrum Dennis is an artist who works in liquid color...watercolor, acrylic -- occasionally adding bits of paper and fun stuff to create collages. A native of Kentucky, in 2014, she and her husband moved to Benicia, California in the Bay Area. She began painting 15 years ago while continuing her long-time career as a public relations consultant and writer.
Since retiring in 2008, Vicki has concentrated on painting using various water media and collage techniques. A long-time member of various Kentucky arts organizations, Vicki exhibited her work at Gallery 104, near Louisville, Kentucky, and in special exhibits throughout the Louisville area. Since moving to California, she has become a member of Arts Benicia and now serves as vice-chair of the Board of Directors. In Benicia, her work can be seen at Gallerie Renee Marie, a co-op gallery at 1038 First Street, and Java Point Cafe, 366 First Street.
